A scalable brand system for Vol Dining’s first off-campus location.
Cumberland Food Hall marked Vol Dining’s first off-campus concept, located on the highly trafficked Cumberland Avenue- commonly called “The Strip.” Surrounded by bold storefronts and constant visual noise, the space needed a distinctive identity that could stand independently while remaining aligned with the Vol Dining brand.
The project required a cohesive environmental presence and scalable system delivered within an accelerated timeline.

The Strip is energetic, saturated, and competitive. To establish presence, the brand needed to balance vibrancy with structure — creating a space that felt modern and engaging without becoming visually chaotic.
Students gravitate toward environments that are visually cohesive and photogenic. The space needed a strong anchor moment that encouraged recognition, wayfinding, and social visibility.
